APRIL 04

M.Schumacher and Ferrari on rendez-vous.

We have really been looking forward to seeing this first Grand Prix of the season 2004. We were all eager to see, at last, how were the potential rivals of Schumacher doing. We were waiting for Williams, we were not sure for McLaren, and what about Bar and Toyota.

Finally, except for Renault, we were very disappointed. Schumacher easily dominated in Australia, ahead of his faithful team-mate. It was difficult for the Williams to get a start and they were not really in. The McLarens and Toyotas were below standard. Renault did quite well and Fernando Alonso was imperial. The objective fixed by Patrick Faure , a world podium place, can be considered if this race is confirmed in the future. On the other hand, for McLaren there's still much work to be done. The broken engine on Raikkonen's car is a source of worry. Lastly, Bridgestone provided excellent rubbers. Nevertheless this first Grand Prix makes us forecast an identical season as the one of 2002. Let's hope that as early as Malaysia, Schumacher will find a bit more cars to beat on his track.

Gentlemen, start your engine !!

Long weeks without any Formula 1 race was becoming unbearable. At last, the season is going to start again this week-end in the country of kangaroos.
Some pilots and teams will have to perform jumps. Williams has already done so in terms of aerodynamics with an anti-conformist design. This year the title must be won. Renault as said in the last editorial wants to jump on the podium of car makers. Who will be forced out ? Can Bar realize the jump of reliable teams ?
Will Rubens be able to conquer his first crown or Michael Schumacher an incredible 7th.
Gentlemen, it's about time to start your engine,we can't wait to see it !

Renault wants to disrupt the hierarchy.

Officially back in 2000,the lozenge firm had great worldwide ambitions. Faithful to its tradition, it was with a new concept, the engine at 110° that Renault engaged itself in that new challenge after winning not less than 6 manufacturer titles with Williams.

If at the beginning, the engine 110° wasn’t a reliable and performing model, one has to admit that last year Alonso and Trulli made the best possible use of it. But regulations have changed and the mono engine rule by grand-prix has put an end to that project. Nevertheless, director Patrick Faure has fixed the stakes high this year. The world championship? Oh no! This will be for 2005, but at least driving out Ferrari, Williams or McLaren from. one of the podium places, occupied by them for years now.

A real challenge which however follows a logic progression. We will therefore watch with great interest the results of the blues and yellows.

At the time when all teams or most of them have disclosed their weapons for 2004, have a look at not less than 41 photos of the tests in Barcelone that Alainh31 has kindly allowed us to broadcast. And don’t forget to take part in the game ‘What’s it’. There’s a photo to win.

NOZEFULL

On the last 5th january, team Williams presented his new weapon, to conquer the Formula 1 world championship. After the winter break, we were exciting to see the beast. And we were impressed. Williams traditionnal ? Not now, the new FW26 nose is so amazing.

Since the high nose of the 1990 Tyrell, or penguin-wings by the same team, originality in F1 was not the way too follow. Williams take the f1 fashion in reverse.First chronos are good, but there are still to see the car against other challenger like FERRARI and McLAREN. Is 2004 the good one for Montoya ? Franck Williams told us that Montoya will have all his chances. We hope so.

For me, i'm gratefull for all of you (more and more) to take time to visit my website in 2003, and invite you to be back in 2004.

And i want to say to all of you since the new Williams :

Have a nose year !
